Equip visits and monitors it's seven clinics regularly to ensure the people are getting the best service possible. Musu is a little girl who lost her arm during the war. 7 year old Hamson Domah is from Wuo's Town and is on the CEAMT program. A volunteer from Equip has also supported him for school fees.
A volunteer teaches the kids how to floss - for the first time! Esther's home was transformed after one of our volunteers' church provided funding for a new roof. Now the ten malnourished children that stay with her are safe from the rain! Equip travels on yet another rough road...
This hand pump in Hope Village is inside of the Equip compound. It services people from all over the community. Kids demonstrate proper hand washing and have fun at the same time! Equip helped with Liberia's polio campaign (Kick Polio out of Liberia!). Thousands of children were vaccinated through our clinics.
When Elijah was brought to us we saw he was severely malnourished. Jody was happy to share her lunch with him and he is now being fed on Come Eat at My Table. Dave works with the CHA's to get the work done. An IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) camp is beginning set up. There are over a million IDPs all over Liberia.
A concrete slab latrine is easy to put in a community and provides a safe and clean way to go to the bathroom. This 'shadow well' is used by people in Lampa. Shadow wells are the only water source for many in Liberia.
